Partnerships
Clear Sports Journal considers collaborations that suit readers interested in understanding sport. A partnership must be clearly presented as such and kept distinct from independent editorial decisions.
Possible collaborations
We consider clearly scoped collaborations such as a commissioned explainer, a supported series, or a partner placement across the site. Proposals should name the intended audience, subject, format and what the partner hopes to achieve. We do not accept arrangements that require editorial conclusions to be changed or concealed.
How placements are labelled
Partner-supported or paid material is labelled clearly where readers encounter it. Labels remain visible on the relevant placement, and partner material is not presented as independent reporting or an editorial recommendation.
Starting a conversation
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include a short description of the organisation or project, the proposed format, the subject and any timing considerations. A proposal is a starting point, not a promise of publication or placement.
Understanding starts with knowing what to watch
A rule can change the shape of a whole contest. We make the details easier to follow without pretending every game has one right way to be read.
